About AMAN

Hello everyone, I’m AMAN.

A veteran who has been navigating the automotive supply chain for over twenty years. My legal name is Li Manfu, but in this corner where I document my professional thoughts, I prefer to be called “Aman” — much like the nickname of a seasoned master in the workshop: simple, approachable, and carrying a sense of hands-on experience.

My Journey: From the Workshop to the Global Supply Chain

My story began in 1999, starting as a workshop technician at an OEM. Over the following 25 years, my career has revolved around one core question: how to find, nurture, and manage the suppliers capable of producing high-quality automotive parts.

⦁ Hands-on Technical Experience: I’ve tackled on-site quality issues, managed 3C certification and component validation, and understand the processes and standards behind every qualified part.

⦁ Focus on Sourcing & Development: At OEMs and design companies like Futian, Huatai, and Jane’s International, I was responsible for supplier sourcing, negotiation, selection, and cost control for body attachments, interior/exterior trims, and full-vehicle projects.

⦁ Deep Involvement in Full Project Cycles: I have repeatedly participated in the entire process from design, mold development, prototyping (RP/hand-made samples) to mass production SOP. I speak the engineer’s language and understand the buyer’s bottom line.

⦁ Witness to Industry Cycles: Having experienced the industry’s golden age and its transformative growing pains, this complete cycle has given me a multidimensional understanding of the resilience, strengths, and challenges of China’s automotive supply chain.

In recent years, I have been responsible for supply chain support for central enterprise vehicle export projects at Sunwin Automotive. Earlier, I also explored entrepreneurship and diversification. These experiences ultimately confirmed my belief: my most significant value still lies within that familiar, complex, yet vibrant automotive manufacturing supply chain.

1、Systematic Organization and Sharing:

To transform the fragmented experiences, case studies, and judgment criteria in my mind into solid, article-length notes. This serves both as a process of personal consolidation and, I hope, provides practical reference for peers and friends across the industry chain.

2、Building Genuine Connections:

I hope this website becomes a “professional exchange hub“. If you have any questions or ideas regarding molds, component development, supply chain management, or similar areas, I welcome you to discuss them with me. At the same time, leveraging my experience and resource network, I aim to share my expertise in supplier resource management with friends domestically and internationally who are seeking quality supply resources or technical solutions.
